Frequently asked questions

Which reports can be sent automatically?
Three today: the breakdown status report, the daily inspection report and the overdue routine maintenance report. Each can run daily, weekly or monthly at a time you choose, in your own time zone, and is mailed as a PDF to users of your account. A scheduled data export covers everything else.
Can we get all of our data out of Solmex?
Yes, at any time and without asking us. Data Export produces a zip of Excel workbooks or CSV files covering equipment, meters, maintenance, work orders, breakdowns, inspections, fuel, spare parts, procurement, workforce and costs. On-demand export stays available even if a subscription lapses. Passwords and access tokens are never included.
Can a user export data they are not allowed to see?
No. Running a data export is its own permission, given to administrators by default. On top of that, each category is offered only to someone who can already view and export that module. Every export request and every download is written to the audit log.
Which plan includes reports and dashboards?
Scheduled reports, dashboards and the analysis pages are part of the Business plan. Every new account gets 14 days of the full Business plan free. After the trial the account keeps the free Starter plan, and an on-demand export of your records stays available on every plan.
