Food plants are inspected on paper more than most, and the paper is usually the weak part. Solmex turns each checklist into a record with a name, a timestamp and a photo on it, and a failed line becomes a tracked work order rather than a note somebody meant to follow up.

When an inspection line fails, Solmex opens a finding against that asset and it stays open until somebody closes it with a reason. That is the whole difference between a checklist that proves something and a checklist that was filled in.
Every completed inspection carries who did it, when, and what they attached. It is written into the asset's own history, so the evidence is found by looking at the machine rather than a shared drive.
Calibration status is computed from the certificate date, not stored as a flag somebody has to remember to change. An instrument out of date says so on the day it happens.
A part issued to a repair on a food-contact machine leaves a ledger line naming the machine, the work order and the person. Stock is a ledger, so any quantity can be walked back to its movements.
