The crew behind the iron.

Machines don't fix themselves. Solmex keeps the people side in the same system — profiles, certifications, daily timesheets, leave — so “who's qualified, who's on shift, who's where” has one answer.

Workforce

Qualified on paper. Provably.

Certificates live on the employee record with scans attached, and expiry warnings start counting down long before an auditor — or an incident investigator — asks to see them.

One record per person

Position, department, team, documents, certifications, history — the crew register mirrors the equipment register: complete, current, and never quietly deleted.

TIME

Timesheets against real work

Daily hours logged per person, against the machines and work orders they actually touched — so labour ends up where it belongs: on the job, not in a monthly lump.

LEAVE

Leave with a workflow

Requests, balances, approvals — in the system, not in someone's inbox. Supervisors see who's off before they plan the week, not after the machine sits idle.

Questions about workforce management

01What does the workforce module hold?

The people side of maintenance: crew profiles, the certifications each person holds with their expiry dates, daily timesheets, and a leave request and approval workflow. It is the register the rest of the system draws technicians, supervisors and approvers from.

02Does it warn before a certification expires?

Yes. Certifications carry expiry dates and surface as warnings before they lapse, which is the point of holding them in the same system as the work: an expired ticket should be visible before somebody is assigned a job that needs it.

03Can people request leave in the app?

Yes, and it is a real approval workflow rather than a note: the request goes to the right approver, is approved or refused, and the outcome is on the record. Timesheets are entered daily and belong to the same person record.

04Do we have to buy a seat for every technician?

No. People who only need to report a problem are work requesters, and work requesters are unlimited and free on every plan, including the free one. You pay for full users: the people planning, assigning, approving and reporting in the browser.
