Mining and quarrying
A haul truck is due on engine hours, a screen deck on tonnes through it, a walkway on a monthly inspection date. Solmex schedules all three off the same template engine, so the plan for the whole site is one queue rather than three spreadsheets that disagree.
Meter rounds are entered on a phone at the machine, or straight off the fuel bowser as it fills. Readings that fight the record are refused at the point of entry, not discovered a month later in a report.
An operator reports a fault in one tap and the machine's status flips itself. The clock starts then, not when somebody gets round to opening a work order, so the downtime figure is the real one.
Fuel logged at the bowser and parts issued off the shelf both post themselves against the machine that consumed them. Cost per haul truck is a number you can already see, not a month-end exercise.
